Alternative Agenda asks 'What are we here for?' We won't know without more art. My method is photography.

Photography isn′t Evidence. It′s not about Truth, Representation or Perfect Timing. But, it is about Fidelity, Perception, and Being Present in the Moment. Alternative Agenda is as much about how I feel as it is about what I see. I photograph whatever catches my fancy as I go about daily life—commuters, clouds, flowers, bugs, the iconic, the ephemeral, the quirky, the mundane.

Alternative Agenda is a blog. I use it as a sketchbook and the images here are incompletely redacted. I crop and otherwise alter my images, but I′m not particularly interested in dwelling on process or gear because they aren′t all of the answer. I′m not doing anything special or using tools that aren′t readily available. In fact, I use an inexpensive, point–and–shoot digital camera and an equally low budget flatbed scanner. I prepare digital images for electronic display only.
